Yak and New Wool Blanket
Made of untreated wool, 50% new wool and 50% yak wool, this wool blanket is a very special one. The wool blend makes the blanket especially soft and fluffy. Our wool blankets have stood the test for centuries and today are still roughened using thistles. This way the wool is treated gently and is not strained.

Thanks to the natural thermoregulation you can sleep in a healthy environment both in summer and winter. A special way to wrap yourself in warm and "woolly" comfort. New wool is self-cleaning and absolutely easy to care for.

Wool blankets are very easy to care for

It is important to air the wool blanket often and extensively. This cleans the wool. If the wool blanket gets fluffy through use, it should be brushed with a root brush. If you moisten the brush with vinegar water, the wool will also be cleaned, the smell will be absorbed and the color will be fresh again. Otherwise, it is sufficient to wash the wool blanket once a year or as required.

The wool blanket is best washed in the bathtub with a mild detergent or curd soap at hand temperature and rinsed at the same temperature. This is very important as wool does not tolerate temperature differences. Then squeeze out well and dry flat over the tumble dryer. It is possible to wash the blanket in the machine - using the wool wash program only - but this can change the wool blanket! We therefore recommend hand washing.
