Our high-quality woollen blankets for dogs are made from 100% soft new wool and are produced in our Ramsau loden mill. The loden wool blankets are perfect for cozy naps and relaxing rest periods for your furry companion. Roughened with natural thistles, they offer warmth and fluffy coziness. New wool is also very easy to care for.

New wool blankets are very easy to care for
It is important to air the new wool blanket often and extensively. This cleans the wool. If the wool blanket gets fluffy through use, it should be brushed with a root brush. If you moisten the brush with vinegar water, the wool will also be cleaned, the smell will be absorbed and the color will be fresh again. Otherwise, it is sufficient to wash the wool blanket once a year or as required.The wool blanket is best washed in the bathtub with a mild detergent or curd soap at hand temperature and rinsed at the same temperature. This is very important as wool does not tolerate temperature differences. Then squeeze out well and dry flat over the tumble dryer. It is possible to wash the blanket in the machine - using the wool wash program only - but this can change the wool blanket! We therefore recommend hand washing.
