The Classic wool blanket is made from 100% new wool. It is the perfect choice for those who want to experience coziness and cozy warmth all year round. Thanks to its exceptional softness and fluffy texture, it ensures lasting warmth and maximum comfort. It is also ideal for sleeping on, preferably without a cover.

Our wool blankets have been tried and tested for centuries and are still roughened with natural thistles (cards) today. This ensures that the new wool is treated gently and is not stressed. This enables natural thermoregulation, which ensures healthy sleeping comfort in both summer and winter. Pure new wool is self-cleaning and absolutely easy to care for.

Wool blankets are very easy to care for

It is important to air the wool blanket often and extensively. This cleans the wool. If the wool blanket gets fluffy through use, it should be brushed with a root brush. If you moisten the brush with vinegar water, the wool will also be cleaned, the smell will be absorbed and the color will be fresh again. Otherwise, it is sufficient to wash the wool blanket once a year or as required.

The wool blanket is best washed in the bathtub with a mild detergent or curd soap at hand temperature and rinsed at the same temperature. This is very important as wool does not tolerate temperature differences. Then squeeze out well and dry flat over the tumble dryer. It is possible to wash the blanket in the machine - using the wool wash program only - but this can change the wool blanket! We therefore recommend hand washing.
