Thanks to its light weight, it is particularly suitable for warmer days, nap time or as a cosy blanket on the go. Its soft, fluffy surface quickly makes it a favourite with younger and older children alike. The temperature-regulating properties of virgin wool ensure a comfortable feel throughout the year.
As we have done for centuries, our wool blankets are teaselled using natural teasels, known as fuller's teasels. This traditional process is gentle on the wool fibres and gives the blanket its particularly soft, natural surface – for long-lasting enjoyment of a high-quality natural product.

Is a virgin wool blanket suitable for year-round use?
Yes. Virgin wool adapts to the temperature. It keeps you warm on cold days and has a pleasantly balancing effect in warmer temperatures.
My child has been sick on the wool blanket. What can I do?
First, shake it out thoroughly. Then wash it by hand in lukewarm water with soap and rinse at the same temperature. Alternatively, wash it in the machine using a gentle wool programme.
Does a wool blanket feel scratchy?
We do not think so. Wool blankets have a soft, fluffy surface with fine wool fibres that stand out slightly.
However, as everyone experiences this differently, we recommend visiting us in person so you can feel the wool blankets before making a purchase.
