Loden is wind and water repellent, keeps you warm and dry even in adverse weather conditions and remains breathable. Loden is particularly appreciated for its low-noise properties, which make it possible to move silently in the forest. They offer a comfortable fit, which makes them pleasant to wear. Loden protects and provides cosy warmth. The loden is produced in-house in Ramsau am Dachstein and our entire collection is sewn 100% in Austria.
Easy care of new wool and loden
Care is really very simple. New wool should be aired regularly in the fresh air. Wool is breathable and can release odours and impurities to the outside. This applies to the merino T-shirt as well as to all loden clothing and woollen blankets. Dirt is best brushed out when dry. Stains can be brushed out with a light vinegar solution. To do this, fill a bowl with lukewarm water, add a strong dash of vinegar (5:1) and brush out the stain or the entire garment with a fine clothes brush and the water-vinegar mixture. The vinegar removes dirt, binds odours and refreshes the colours. Loden garments without lining & interlinings can also be washed by hand in warm water and rinsed in warm water. Then squeeze out well, shake out, smooth out and dry flat.
